The drought and immense forest fire which destroyed the majority of the forests of central Uxerra left a small stand of ancient redwoods untouched.
The oldest of these trees achieved sentience shortly before the dragon invasion, and were protected by the Orcs as the last remnants of their ancestral home.
The Grove of the Ancients holds the last of the intelligent flora in all of Avallore.
